Opinions and intuition are essential to product work.
I value them deeply in the people I collaborate with.
My role is to make sure my own takes up less space, so the user’s voice can take up more.
So don’t ask me for my opinion.

Research is a de-risking tool, not a perfection exercise.
With shortening product development lifecycles, there is rarely time for ideal sample sizes or pristine methods.
The goal is to learn enough, early enough, to avoid the most expensive mistakes.
So perfect research is a waste of time.
Research only creates value when it can travel.
If findings stay in someone’s head, or die in a meeting, they can’t inform decisions, build knowledge, or compound over time.
Documentation is what turns observation into interactive evidence, and evidence into action.
I have no interest in decisions made on gossip.
